It can be hard to be rejected or pushed away by your mother but this young moose seemed to handle it OK. The mother pushes the young moose away just before the new calf arrives. I found this moose just in the outskirts of Orsa, in Dalarna.

It was a bit nervous running back and forth across the road a few times before he started to relax and eat. Finaly he walked into the forest, leaving the road and the open fields behind.
