Last year at this time I visited the Bear Park at Orsa Grönklitt, mainly to see the polar bear in a more natural environment of snow and ice, than in the lush green of the Swedish summer. At this park they have all the big wild carnivores in Sweden, Brown bear, Wolf, Lynx and Wolverine. They also have several other big carnivores that are endangered such as Siberian Tiger, Snow Leopard, Amur Leopard, Polar bear, Kamchatka bear.

They way the Swedish government is currently handling the questions regarding the big carnivores we all might have to visit Zoo’s and wildlife parks if we want to see these beautiful animals in the future.

Lynx is the smallest of the big cats in this series of big cats and the only one that lives wild in Sweden.

This is the Amur Leopard another big cat that lives in snow.

Last of the big cats in this series is the Siberian Tiger.
