On our holiday in Scotland I had one day by myself, totally dedicated to photography. I got a rental car in Edinburgh and early in the morning went to Dunbar on the east coast. I had pre-booked a trip to Bass Rock an island with a gannet colony (more about this later in another post) and the boat was to leave at one a clock from Dunbar. I arrived in Dunbar at around half past nine in the morning. I had read that there was a Kittiwake colony in the harbour and after a sandwich and a cup of coffee at the Dunbar leisure pool, I unpacked my camera and focused on the Kittiwakes. The first picture is from the rocks just outside the leisure pool and the rest are from the rocks and ruins at the harbour.
