Inspired by Åsa Vadings lovely pictures of the beautiful demoiselle, I had to see if I could find these shimmering jewels along the Fyris river as well. It did not look promising, I walked along the river but did not see any. However in my hunt for the beautiful demoiselle, I did see my first swimming water vole as well as a mink.

After walking up and down the riverside for at least an hour, I found the magical spot. I had found them, now several beautiful demoiselle were flying around me. I tried to capture them in flight but no succéss, I did however get a few pictures of them sitting still and posing.
